Hello!  I am Zeni Shariff

Author, Artist, Photographer, and Storyteller

Zeni Shariff is a Canadian author, artist, photographer, and storyteller whose work celebrates imagination, culture, learning, and connection. Through her books, artwork, and photography, she shares stories that inspire curiosity, kindness, unity, and appreciation for the world around us.

Her creative journey is rooted in a lifelong love of storytelling and visual expression. Zeni enjoys creating work that uplifts children and families while encouraging reflection, wonder, and a sense of belonging.

Her book, Little One, You Are the Universe, invites readers to recognize their own light, value, and connection to the world around them. The book reflects her belief in the power of words and images to nurture confidence, compassion, and imagination.

Zeni’s work has been shared through community events, galleries, and exhibitions. Her artwork has been exhibited at Show Gallery in Toronto, Gibson House Museum in North York, the McKay Art Centre in historic Unionville through exhibitions organized by the Markham Arts Council, Cedarbrae Art Gallery through the Scarborough Arts Council, and on several occasions at the Ismaili Centre Toronto, including the Unionville and Willowdale Ismaili Centres.
Through her art, photography, and storytelling, Zeni continues to explore meaningful ways to connect with others and celebrate creativity, culture, and connection.”

When she is not writing or creating, Zeni enjoys spending time with family, exploring nature, and finding inspiration in everyday moments.
